Bruins Place McAvoy and Zacha on IR, Recall Brown and Wotherspoon

The Boston Bruins have placed defenseman Charlie McAvoy and forward Pavel Zacha on injured reserve and have recalled forward Patrick Brown and defenseman Parker Wotherspoon from Providence on an emergency basis. McAvoy has recorded 17 points in 21 games this season, while Zacha has tallied 19 points in 26 games. Brown has appeared in eight games with Boston this season, while Wotherspoon has played in three.
