Belarusian Activist Pratasevich Faces 10-Year Jail Term.

Belarusian prosecutors have requested a 10-year prison term for Roman Protasevich, an opposition activist who helped coordinate mass protests against President Alexander Lukashenko's regime in 2020. Protasevich, the editor of an opposition Telegram channel, was arrested in 2021 after his Ryanair flight was intercepted by a fighter jet and forced to land in Minsk. Reunited: Ukrainian Children Deported by Russia Return Home with Help from Charity.
