Indian chess grandmaster Dommaraju Gukesh beat Uzbekistani grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattorov in an armageddon game at the Norway Chess tournament, after the classical portion of the match ended in a draw. Gukesh, who beat world No.1 Magnus Carlsen on his 17th birthday last week, rises to fourth in the standings. American grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura regained the world No. 2 spot for the first time since 2015 with a victory over Aryan Tari.
