Yelp has released its second-annual guide of the top 100 donut shops within the U.S. Four Oregon-based donut spots earned a spot on the list, including Pip’s Original Doughnuts & Chai, Donut Day, Doe Donuts, and Mikiko Mochi Donuts. Pip’s was the highest-ranked Oregon business at No. 15, recognized for its fresh mini donuts and variety of chai flavors. Doe Donuts specializes in vegan treats, while Mikiko Mochi serves dairy-free, gluten-free desserts. Yelp compiled the list based on factors such as total volume and ratings between Jan. 1, 2022, and March 31 of this year.
Rise'n Roll Bakery, a popular doughnut chain with five locations in the Indianapolis area, has been named the winner of nine awards in the Underground Donut Tour's "America's Best Donuts" contest. The Middlebury-based Indiana chain's cinnamon caramel doughnut was voted the greatest cinnamon sugar doughnut in America and the overall fan favorite. Rise'n Roll will offer free cinnamon caramel doughnuts in its stores on June 2 to celebrate National Donut Day.
