Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison for her involvement in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard, will be released on parole on December 28, three years before her original release date. Dee Dee had Munchhausen syndrome by proxy and forced Gypsy to appear ill for attention. Gypsy's boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, stabbed Dee Dee to death in 2015. Gypsy, now 32, has expressed relief at being in prison and plans to share her story in the true crime industry after her release.
