Fatal Wrong-Way Crash Claims 4 Lives on I-71 in Morrow County

Four people, including two Columbus residents, were killed in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 71 in Morrow County. The crash occurred when a 2020 Hyundai Tucson, driven by Larry A. Dotson, collided head-on with a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Both vehicles caught fire after the impact, resulting in the deaths of Cristal Galloso Olvera, Ivonne Olvera, Larry A. Dotson, and Marlee Middleton. The cause of the crash, including the involvement of drugs or alcohol, is currently under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
