NASA’s Webb Telescope Discovers Tiny New Moon Around Uranus
The James Webb Space Telescope has discovered a new tiny moon, S/2025 U1, around Uranus, increasing the known moons to 29. This small, faint object, about 10 km across, was observed near the planet's rings and orbits between two other moons, highlighting the complex and still largely unknown Uranian system. The discovery emphasizes ongoing advancements in astronomy building on past missions like Voyager 2.
