Limited Edition Super Mario Oreos Feature Iconic Characters

Nintendo has partnered with Mondelez International to create limited edition Super Mario Bros. Oreos, featuring 16 different designs of characters such as Mario, Luigi, Toad, Yoshi, and Bowser. The cookies will be available in North America from July 10th. The collaboration is a no-brainer move from Nintendo, given the success of The Super Mario Bros. Movie and the announcement of a new 2D Mario game.

Trident 'Original Flavor' Lawsuit Dismissed by Federal Judge.

A federal judge in Illinois has dismissed a lawsuit accusing Mondelez International of deceiving consumers into believing its Trident "Original Flavor" gum contained real mint. The judge said it was "fanciful" to believe reasonable consumers would expect the gum to contain mint or peppermint because its packaging featured an "unnaturally blue" leaf with condensation bubbles. The lawsuit covered consumers in Illinois and eight other U.S. states, and accused Chicago-based Mondelez of violating various consumer protection laws.
