The first Netflix House has opened in King of Prussia Mall, offering fans immersive experiences like mini-golf, themed selfie spots, and multimedia shows, with plans for more locations including Dallas and Las Vegas, aiming to blend content with physical interaction and social media marketing.
A new pop-up mini golf course called Pixar Putt has opened at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia, featuring scenes from iconic Disney/Pixar films such as "Toy Story," "The Incredibles," "Monsters Inc.," "Cars," "Finding Nemo," and "Turning Red." The course aims to bring players into the iconic moments of their favorite films, with interactive play and romantic spots like Carl's house from "Up!" The course is recommended for kids aged 4 and up, and there is also a Pixar Putt After Dark option for adults. The pop-up will be open until October 1st.
Australian company Funlab is set to open its Holey Moley mini golf bar in the former Native Hostel space in Austin in November. The venue will feature "super-vibey, multi-sensory experiences and new, iconic pop-culture themes woven into the golf holes". Funlab operates 42 other venues in Australia and New Zealand and is opening/taking over existing golftainment locations in Denver and San Francisco. Native, which had been quieter in recent years, closed recently and its restaurant tenants have either moved on or sit in limbo.
Casa Bonita failed to meet its May opening deadline, but Coney Island Boardwalk in Bailey reopened under new management. BurnDown and Puttshack are two new additions to Denver's food and entertainment scene. Kiké's Red Tacos and Two Hands also opened their brick-and-mortar locations. Philly-born chain Primo Hoagies joined the Denver food scene, while Fiction Beer Company, Jet's Pizza, and Lady Nomada added additional locations. Reunion Bread is back after an oven explosion, but without leavened bread. The Rotary closed its Hilltop brick-and-mortar but plans to reopen as a cloud kitchen. Lafayette's Bounce Empire offers the largest collection of bounce houses, mazes, and games in Colorado. Call Your Mother, a bagel shop, debuted on May 19 and plans to add two more Denver locations this year.
Kim Kardashian and her sister Kylie Jenner were caught on camera playing mini golf together in a TikTok video. Kim wore a black and white snakeskin print catsuit that accentuated her curves, while Kylie donned black leather trousers, a white T-shirt, and a cream-colored corset. In the video, Kim stuck out her famous butt while preparing to take her shot, and accidentally whacked Kylie with her golf club. The sisters attended SZA's gig earlier in the night and appeared to be having a great time together. Kylie recently admitted that Kim is her favorite sister in an interview with Vanity Fair.
