Ming-Na Wen has joined the cast of Sony's new "Karate Kid" film, alongside Ben Wang, Jackie Chan, Ralph Macchio, Joshua Jackson, and Sadie Stanley. The details of Wen's role are currently undisclosed, and the movie, directed by Jonathan Entwistle and written by Rob Lieber, is set for release on Dec. 13, 2024. The "Karate Kid" franchise has been successful globally, and Wen, known for her roles in "The Book of Boba Fett" and "Hacks," was honored as a Disney Legend in 2019. She is also set to star in the film "Peachville" with Paul Giamatti and Simon Pegg.
