TBBT's Most Controversial Character: Guest or Spotlight?

Bernadette, one of the most hated characters on TBBT, was only meant to be a guest role but was eventually kept on as a fully-fledged character in the series. Fans' hatred of Bernadette has nothing to do with the actress and much more with the character's development throughout the show. Actress Melissa Rauch was thankful for her time in Big Bang, but fans feel the show's writing let both the character and herself down.
