Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, the first mainline game in the Armored Core series in over a decade, is set to launch on August 25th. The game is a reboot that takes advantage of FromSoftware's expanded resources to create a new mecha-based game with fresh gameplay features, including the Assault Boost, and fine-tuned customization. The story is set on the planet Rubicon, where a dangerous resource called Coral is discovered, and players will explore the planet's various environments. The game will be available on PlayStation 5 / 4, Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, and PC.
