The larger size of the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models will allow for major camera upgrades, including a periscope telephoto camera and a 12% larger main camera sensor. The periscope camera is expected to be exclusive to the Pro Max model in the iPhone 15 series, but will be available on both Pro models in the iPhone 16 series. The larger sensor could improve dynamic range and low-light photography capabilities. The increased size of the devices will provide more internal space for components, including the periscope camera system.
