Japan's Prime Minister Kishida to Visit Ukraine for Talks with Zelenskyy in Show of Solidarity.

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is visiting Ukraine to show solidarity and support for the country's defense against Russia's invasion and to affirm his commitment to the rules-based international order. Kishida is the only G-7 leader who hasn't visited Ukraine and is expected to offer continuing support for the country. Due to Japan's pacifist principles, its support for Ukraine has been limited to non-combative military equipment and humanitarian supplies. Japan has contributed over $7 billion to Ukraine and accepted more than 2,000 displaced Ukrainians.
