Former Chief Minister Kamal Nath takes responsibility for the Congress party's poor performance in the Madhya Pradesh election, acknowledging their failure to effectively communicate with voters. The Congress conducted fewer protests and rallies compared to the BJP, which held 634 rallies led by top leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah. The lack of a strong narrative on farmers and the unsuccessful use of the OBC card and soft Hindutva agenda also contributed to the party's defeat. Additionally, the absence of fresh faces in the party and the aging leadership of Kamal Nath and Digvijaya Singh impacted the campaign. As of now, the BJP is leading in 165 seats, while the Congress is leading in 65 seats.
