WLW legend Jim Scott's ALS diagnosis shatters a wonderful life
Cincinnati radio legend Jim Scott, who retired in 2015 after a 55-year career, has revealed that he has been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Scott, 80, experienced weaknesses in his left arm, hand, and right leg, the same areas affected by polio when he was 12. Despite the diagnosis, Scott remains hopeful and plans to participate in the Walk to Defeat ALS event. He encourages others to join him in raising awareness and funds for ALS research.
