Shefali Shah and Jim Sarbh did not win the International Emmys for Best Actress and Best Actor for their performances in Delhi Crime and Rocket Boys respectively. The awards went to Karla Souza for Dive and Martin Freeman for The Responder. Delhi Crime is in its second season and is based on the 2012 Delhi gang rape, while Rocket Boys is based on the lives of physicists Homi J Bhabha and Vikram Sarabhai. Vir Das won Best Comedy Series, and Ekta Kapoor received the International Emmy Directorate Award.
