COVID-19 Cases Surge in Lancaster County and Lincoln Area
The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department has reported an increase in COVID-19 cases, including in some long-term care facilities, with 185 cases reported for the week ending November 11 compared to an average of 113 per week over the last four weeks. Wastewater analysis also showed a rise in viral particles detected. The Health Department recommends updating COVID-19 vaccines for the fall and winter, and has detected a slight increase in flu and RSV cases. A new data dashboard has been launched to track respiratory illnesses in the community.
