"Mattel Introduces Inclusive and Accessible Version of Scrabble for Gen Z"
Scrabble's parent company, Mattel, has announced a new version of the classic word game called "Scrabble Together," designed to be more inclusive and less competitive for younger players. The new version features a collaborative and faster-paced gameplay on one side of the board, with goal cards, helper cards, and team play options. The move comes in response to research showing that younger players are less interested in competitive games and prefer teamwork and collaboration. The new version will be available in Europe but not in the U.S.
