Scientists from 17 countries are coming together to save the Neretva River in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is home to unique ecosystems and rare species. The success of preserving the Vjosa River in Albania has given hope to campaigners, and efforts are underway to prevent further hydropower projects in the pristine waters of the Neretva.
