Tropical Storm Jova Sparks Dangerous Conditions and Humidity in Southern California
Southern California is experiencing drizzly rain and high humidity due to the moisture from Tropical Storm Jova, which was downgraded to a tropical storm on Saturday. The moisture is being steered towards the region by winds in the upper atmosphere. The humidity is expected to decrease by Sunday, with drier air moving in on Tuesday. Coastal areas may experience thunderstorms and showers, while a high surf advisory is in effect until Monday evening. Jova is gradually moving away from the coast and is expected to weaken and dissipate over colder ocean waters.
