Scottie Scheffler Shines with Ninth Win at Hero World Challenge
Scottie Scheffler has surpassed Sir Nick Faldo's record for consecutive weeks as World No.1 golfer and is now targeting Greg Norman's 96-week streak. Scheffler, currently enjoying his 82nd week at the top, recently won the Hero World Challenge and is expected to surpass Norman's record by early 2025. He aims to challenge Tiger Woods' all-time record of 281 consecutive weeks as World No.1, though it will require sustained excellence over several years. Scheffler is also set to overtake Rory McIlroy in total weeks as World No.1 soon.
