Lilia Vu won the Chevron Championship after beating Angel Yin in a playoff. Vu birdied the first playoff hole to secure her second LPGA Tour victory. The Californian golfer closed with a 4-under 68 for a four-day total of 10-under 278. Yin forced the playoff with a birdie on the 18th hole. The tournament, previously known as the Dinah Shore, moved to The Club at Carlton Woods in Texas after being unable to find a sponsor willing to add to the half-century run at Mission Hills.
