Jeep's refreshed Grand Wagoneer will feature a range-extended electric vehicle (EREV) version capable of 500 miles, along with new design elements, premium interiors, and various trims, starting at around $62,000.
The upcoming electric version of the Wagoneer will prominently feature the Jeep name, reflecting the new leadership team's belief that the gas-powered models have been missing this crucial branding. The CEO of Jeep emphasized the iconic importance of the Jeep name and announced that the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will be integrated into the Jeep brand, abandoning the previous attempt at a premium and luxury sub-brand. The electric Jeep Wagoneer S is set to be the fastest Jeep SUV ever, with 600 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time under 3.5 seconds, while the Jeep Recon, resembling the Wrangler, is expected to launch later this year.
