Nintendo has released a major update (Version 2.0.0) for Donkey Kong Bananza, introducing paid DLC called DK Island & Emerald Rush, along with gameplay improvements and increased storage for Banandium Chips. The DLC costs $19.99 and allows access to new content, including a new island and game mode, with options for players who haven't completed the main game yet. A Switch 2 demo is also available.
