Jacinda Ardern to join Harvard as a fellow.

Former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern will be heading to Harvard University this fall to complete dual fellowships at the Harvard Kennedy School and the Harvard Law School’s Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society. Ardern will be serving as the Angelopoulos Global Public Leaders Fellow and the Hauser Leader in the School’s Center for Public Leadership. She will also be studying ways to contain extremist content online. Ardern will be gone for a semester but will return at the end of the fellowships.

Jacinda Ardern joins Harvard as a fellow to tackle leadership and online extremism.

Former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern will join Harvard University as a fellow for a semester, taking on two fellowships at the Kennedy School and the Center for Public Leadership. She will also work with the Berkman Klein Center at the Harvard Law School as its first Knight Tech Governance Leadership Fellow. Ardern will bring important insights for students and generate vital conversations about public policy choices facing leaders at all levels.

Jacinda Ardern to take on leadership and extremism roles at Harvard

Former New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has accepted three fellowships at Harvard University, including dual fellowships at Harvard Kennedy School and a concurrent fellowship at the Berkman Klein Center. Ardern said she was "incredibly humbled" to join Harvard as a fellow and that it would give her a chance to learn and share her experience with others. She will also work on the challenges around the growth of generative AI tools. Ardern stepped down as prime minister in January and quit parliament earlier this month.
