Chris Christie Stands Firm in Anti-Trump Message Despite Boos
Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie defended himself after being booed at a conservative conference for criticizing former President Donald Trump, saying "they need to hear the truth too, that character is the single most important element of a president of the United States." Christie also criticized Trump's recent remarks at the conference and warned against the Republican Party going to a fourth loss. A recent NBC News poll found that 51% of Republican primary voters are choosing Trump as their first choice for the GOP nomination.
