Despite being booed at the Faith & Freedom Coalition’s annual conference, Chris Christie believes his anti-Trump messaging is resonating with voters, pointing to polling that shows him ahead of other long-shot candidates in New Hampshire. Christie, who endorsed Trump in 2016, has since become his chief detractor in the 2024 GOP primary. He attacked Trump for remarks he made at the conference and criticized him for taking sensitive intelligence and secret documents out of the White House.
