Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari introduced the newly built Dwarka Expressway, India's first eight-lane elevated expressway, describing it as a "Marvel of Engineering." The 563 km long expressway will significantly improve connectivity between Delhi and Haryana, with reduced travel times to various destinations. The project involved retransplanting 1,200 trees and utilized two lakh tonnes of steel and 20 lakh cubic meters of cement concrete. The expressway also features three-lane service roads on both sides and entry points to avoid traffic congestion.
