Remarkable Discovery: Intact Dinosaur Embryo Unearthed in Fossilized Egg

A perfectly preserved dinosaur embryo belonging to the oviraptorosaur group has been discovered inside a fossilized egg in a Chinese museum. Estimated to be between 66 and 72 million years old, the embryo is one of the most complete ever found and reveals a link between dinosaurs and modern birds. The unhatched creature displayed a posture typical of present-day bird embryos, suggesting that the behavior of tucking during hatching may have originated in ancient theropod dinosaurs. While more fossils are needed for confirmation, this exceptional find provides evidence that certain developmental behaviors in birds may have deeper roots in the theropod lineage.
