German startup Patient21 has raised $108 million in a Series C funding round led by Pitango to expand its digital healthcare platform with brick-and-mortar clinics beyond Germany. The platform offers online bookings, digital case histories, check-ins, billing, insurance, and more, and currently focuses on dentistry, with more than 80% of its clinics targeting oral health. The company plans to expand to cover additional areas of healthcare in the future and may extend into virtual healthcare.
