"Thanksgiving Threat: Francisco Covid Cases Surge"

Covid levels in San Francisco's wastewater treatment plants have been rising in the past six weeks, just ahead of Thanksgiving and holiday travel. The city's Oceanside and Southeast Treatment Plants have shown a high concentration of the virus in sewage, with a recent spike in the west side plant. Influenza and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) levels are also increasing, particularly at the Oceanside plant. The U.S. government is offering free at-home Covid tests ahead of the winter holiday season, as hospitalizations for Covid have been on the rise.
