Ancient Anglo-Saxon Cemetery with 24 Skeletons Found in English Hotel Garden

Archaeologists in the UK have discovered over two dozen human skeletons dating back more than 1,000 years in the garden of The Old Bell Hotel in Malmesbury, Wiltshire. The remains, mostly of Anglo-Saxon women, are believed to be from a monastic community associated with the nearby Malmesbury Abbey, providing the first confirmed evidence of 7th- to 9th-century activity in the area.
