Scientists discover 30 billion solar mass black hole.
An ultramassive black hole, 30 billion times bigger than the Sun, has been discovered hundreds of millions of light-years away. The black hole was observed through gravitational lensing, which makes it possible to study inactive black holes. Experts believe black holes cannot grow much larger than the newly discovered object, making it one of the biggest ever detected and on the upper limit of how large black holes can theoretically become.
