"James Webb Telescope Unveils Earliest Galaxies from Cosmic Dawn"

NASA's James Webb Space Telescope has discovered three of the universe's earliest galaxies, formed between 400 million to 600 million years after the Big Bang. These galaxies, observed feeding on helium and hydrogen, provide the first direct images of galaxy formation, marking the birth of the first star systems in the universe.

"Astronomers Probe Early Universe's Galaxy Group"

An international team of astronomers, led by researchers at the Cosmic Dawn Center in Copenhagen, has used the Hubble Space Telescope to investigate a galaxy group in the early universe. They discovered a galaxy that absorbs light rather than emitting it, and although they were unable to detect a luminous counterpart, they found another nearby star-forming galaxy. These galaxies are gravitationally bound and may eventually form a galaxy group similar to our Local Group. The researchers plan to continue studying the group to search for other members and uncover the galaxy causing the absorption.
