Researchers at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research have developed a highly efficient and stable copper-based catalyst for converting CO2 to CO, with a CO productivity of 5350 mmol g−1 h−1 and 99.8% selectivity. The catalyst remained stable for over 200 hours, and in-situ studies highlighted the importance of defect sites in tuning strong metal-support interactions.
