Motive Health has launched a wearable device that uses muscle stimulation to relieve chronic knee pain. The FDA-cleared device, which can be worn for 30 minutes a day, strengthens quadricep muscles and is available direct-to-consumer for $399. The brand plans to expand its product offerings to treat other areas of pain, such as low back pain and shoulder pain, using the same neuromuscular stimulation technology. With an estimated 40 million Americans suffering from knee pain, Motive Health aims to provide accessible solutions for a mass audience.
