Google has released version 11.2.0 of Lighthouse, bringing changes to performance scores and design in PageSpeed Insights. The update includes an overhaul to the performance category, with insights now scored and prioritized based on their estimated impact. The performance score gauge provides more detailed information about how each metric affects the score. Additionally, there are design updates, including fixing the alignment of gauges and introducing a cleaner interface. Lighthouse 11.2.0 will be available in Chrome Dev Tools in December 2023, while PageSpeed Insights will receive the changes by the end of October.
