Best Buy is recalling nearly 1 million Insignia Multi-Function pressure cookers sold between October 2017 and June 2023 due to inaccurate volume markings, which can cause hot food and liquid to erupt when the pressure cooker is opened. The recall, affecting both the United States and Canada, comes after 17 burn injury complaints in the US and 31 reports of food being ejected under pressure. Best Buy is offering free replacements of the inner pot and a new valve to affected customers.
