Comer made the admission during an appearance on Fox News, where he was asked about evidence presented by a convicted fraudster, Devon Archer, who had a business relationship with Hunter Biden. Republicans had hoped Archer would confirm an uncorroborated allegation that the president and his son received a $5 million bribe from a Ukrainian energy executive. However, no evidence has emerged to support these claims.

Arizona House expels GOP Rep. Liz Harris over ethics violations.

The Arizona House of Representatives has expelled Republican lawmaker Liz Harris after she organized a presentation making unsubstantiated accusations that a wide range of politicians, judges, and public officials of both parties took bribes from a Mexican drug cartel. The bipartisan vote came after the House Ethics Committee determined Harris had engaged in “disorderly behavior” in violation of the chamber’s rules. Harris, a prominent supporter of discredited election conspiracies, did not speak ahead of the expulsion vote and called the ethics report “a lie.” By law, Harris must be replaced by a Republican.
