"Global Collaboration: 32 Nations Unite for Atlantic Cooperation"
Thirty-two coastal Atlantic countries across four continents have launched the Partnership for Atlantic Cooperation, a new multilateral forum aimed at addressing a wide range of issues including economic development, environmental protection, and science and technology. This is the first grouping to span both the North and South Atlantic and establish a set of shared principles for the region. The Partnership seeks to deepen connections among Atlantic countries and will focus on issues such as sustainable ocean economy and climate change. Participating countries have endorsed a Plan of Action outlining their first phase of work, including scientific cooperation and the development of young Atlantic scientists.
