Known for his market insights and regular appearances on CNBC, Cashin had a career spanning over 60 years, starting at Thomson McKinnon in 1959. He became a member of the NYSE at 23 and later joined PaineWebber, which was acquired by UBS. Cashin was also known for his daily newsletter, "Cashin’s Comments," and was a respected figure in the financial industry.
