Europe is rapidly expanding its arms manufacturing capabilities at three times the usual speed, signaling a significant increase in military preparedness and a shift towards heightened defense measures amid geopolitical tensions.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un visited arms factories and emphasized the strategic importance of weapons production, amid criticism over the country's arms transfers with Russia. Nearly 50 countries condemned Russia's use of North Korean ballistic missiles against Ukraine, with the United States and its allies planning to raise the issue at the U.N. Security Council. Kim also labeled South Korea as the "most hostile" state and called for increased military capabilities, describing worsening inter-Korean relations as an "unavoidable reality."
