France Sends Used Armoured Vehicles and New Missiles to Ukraine in Response to Russian Aggression
France plans to send hundreds of old but functional armoured vehicles and new surface-to-air missiles to Ukraine in response to the war with Russia. The aid package, requested by President Emmanuel Macron following talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, includes VAB troop carriers and Aster 30 missiles to bolster Ukraine's ground-air defense against intensified Russian strikes. France is also accelerating the development of remotely operated ammunition for delivery to Ukraine and considering the possibility of European nations sending troops to support Ukraine.
