France Boosts Lebanese Army with Armoured Vehicles

France's defence minister, Sebastien Lecornu, announced that France will be providing dozens of armoured vehicles to the Lebanese army to enhance their patrol capabilities amid rising tensions between Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. Lecornu emphasized the importance of strengthening the Lebanese national army's coordination with the United Nations peacekeeping force. France will also supply medicines and establish a joint program for purchasing medical supplies at reasonable prices for the Lebanese army. The move reflects France's long-term commitment to supporting Lebanon, despite the country's current difficulties.
