Over 25,000 customers in Louisiana, particularly in the Acadiana region, are currently without power due to outages reported by Cleco, Slemco, Entergy, and LUS, affecting several parishes including Acadia, Iberia, St. Mary, Lafayette, St. Martin, Vermilion, St. Landry, and Jeff Davis.
Acadiana faces a potential for severe weather on Monday, with scattered storms, supercells, hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes expected. The tornado risk is highest in the southeastern corner of the state, but tornadoes are possible across all of Acadiana.
