Europe's MTG-Sounder Sends First Infrared Images, Boosting Weather Forecasts

ESA released the first infrared and humidity images from the Meteosat Third Generation-Sounder, captured from geostationary orbit, showing Europe will gain frequent, detailed atmospheric data to improve nowcasting and severe-weather forecasts across Europe and northern Africa.
