SpaceX Launches European Weather Satellites MTG-S1 and Sentinel-4 from Kennedy Space Center
SpaceX successfully launched the European weather satellite MTG-Sounder using a Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center, with the first stage landing on a drone ship in the Atlantic, marking its ninth reuse. The satellite will orbit in geostationary orbit to improve weather prediction and monitor air quality over Europe and North Africa.
