Scientists have achieved the world's first IVF rhino pregnancy, offering hope for saving the northern white rhino from extinction. With only two of these rhinos left, the Biorescue project successfully transferred a lab-created rhino embryo into a surrogate southern white rhino mother. Despite the surrogate's tragic death, the technique has shown promise, and the next step is to attempt this with northern white rhino embryos.
