"Ukraine Receives Helicopter Support to Counter Russia's Black Sea Fleet"

Germany will donate six Sea King Mk41 helicopters to Ukraine, bolstering Kyiv's assets in the Black Sea against Russia's naval fleet. The helicopters are expected to arrive in the next six months and will enhance Ukraine's airborne and naval aviation capabilities in the key battleground of the Black Sea. Germany also plans to supplement Ukraine's air defenses with more military aid, including IRIT-T systems and Gepard anti-aircraft guns, as part of the €6 billion ($6.5 billion) committed to Kyiv since February 2022.
